Cesc Fabregas and Cesar Azpilicueta appear to be men of many talents, after turning their hands to first aid during last night’s Capital One Cup win over Derby.

The pair’s team-mate Kurt Zouma looked to be in a bad way after being wiped out by goalkeeper Petr Cech and they clearly weren’t happy with the speed with which the stretcher-bearers were dealing with their centre-back.

Zouma was replaced by Branislav Ivanovic but fortunately the youngster looks to have made a swift recovery.

‘Zouma is fine, he was just a bit dizzy and had some blood in his mouth. He has some exams with the doctors but he’s fine,’ said Blues boss Jose Mourinho
