If you found yourself sobbing at the John Lewis Christmas ad each year, you might want to give Budweiser’s latest ad a miss.
Their latest promo certainly packs an emotional punch, featuring a winning combination of animal friendship and a puppy in peril.
Last year Budweiser’s ‘Best Buds’ ad, where a puppy and a horse became the best of friends, ruled the 2014 Super Bowl advertising blitz.
So how to top it this year? Split the best buds up, then have the puppy nearly get eaten by a wolf before his horse companion dashes in to rescue him.

For a 60-second ad, it certainly packs in a rollercoaster of emotions.
While we’re not sure how exactly lost puppies relate to beer, but we’re a ball of tears anyway.
